Submissions are currently OPEN for two events at the Wolverhampton Original Literature Festival (WOLF) on Wednesday 24 and Sunday 28 January.

Submit your poetry and short fiction for a chance to read to festivalgoers who are interested in finding out about new writing emerging in the Black Country.

To be in with a chance:

Your work will be published at the site ahead of the festival appearances.

Louise says:

‘We are seeking up to ten people to go forward to festival readings so this is a great opportunity for poets and writers of short or flash fiction, and novels-in-progress to read out at an actual literary festival.’

There will be a Performing Your Work masterclass in January, to share performance tips and work together to organise running orders and promotional activity for both events.

Feminist narratives wanted!

Does your creative writing deal with notions of equality? Would you like to perform your poetry, short fiction, or life writing?

An exciting opportunity has been developed in conjunction with Wolverhampton Art Gallery to read contemporary feminist narratives at the launch of an exhibition in 2018.

Submissions are now being sought!

To enter:

A workshop on Feminist Writing will be held in the New Year to explore themes and offer tips on self-editing and preparing your work for both publication and performance.
